I turned 30 in July and had spent about 25 years never listening to The Doors. Then, these last few years I have been like a 15 year old girl obsessed! It’s hilarious to my husband! Yeah, so, we kinda waited a while to get into them but as funny as it might sound, we both agreed that at any other point in our lives we maybe wouldn’t have “got it” , which was definitely said while laughing but oddly still kinda true! That said, I never saw this photo before , so thank the amazing Sonya Koshuta for passing along the rare glimpse my teenage heart is palpitating over. I’m gonna go put on HWY and re-read my 1971 copy (best book cover ever!) of The Lords & The New Creatures that my shaky hands found for $.50 at a flea market a couple years back…
